Yes!
We (my family) made a spur-of-the-moment decision to take a weekend
beach trip to celebrate our older son's birthday. Lucky for us, he was
cool with having us along. Of course, otherwise, he would've been
footing the bill, so no wonder he was gracious. (hehe!)
Anyway, we all had a really great time together. It was wonderful
just to relax, especially for my ultra-hard-working husband.
The ocean was chilly, but the weather was lovely and the crowds were
sparse. The perfect time of year, in my opinion.
While the Carolina low-country was sunny, we came back to an inch of
water in our rain gauge and the nearby creeks were way up!

Wow! These really make me want to get back to the shore!

Well, I don't have much for comparison, just a few east coast beaches. But there's just something about the ocean...!
