Before I did the "photo shoot" for these new birds,
I snapped a picture of them on a little drawing.
Longleg Birds like to stretch up and eat apricots from
low-hanging tree limbs, see?
Aren't birds the greatest?!
I'm loving this short-lived time of year when I can have
the windows open and listen to them sing. I hear,
"Sweet! Sweet!"
"Doooi. Doooi."
"Cheer up! Cheerily!"
and one I can't translate.

Birds have such a beautiful sound.
They make it so happy in the spring when you hear all of them..I have cd with all the bird sounds in our area..Just love to listen, then try and pick out the name of the bird.
Will admit, not real good at some of them..
Yes, they sound so happy (most of the time), don't they?
A cd like that would be great to listen to when you lie down for a nap and want to dream about spring!
