My dearest newsletter subscribers (both of you),
I know you are probably sitting on the edge of your desk chair, waiting for the first
of my special, for-your-eyes-only editions of The Treasurefield News. I offer my
most humble and heartfelt apologies for the delay.
I'm afraid I am having to repair (by hand) the super-dooper, uber-complicated, digital
inkomometer. And the astronomically, outrageously, expensive printacephalator has to
be replaced, shipping from the tiny island of Fontevidio whose work week consists of
Saturdays and Sundays only, and using carrier penguin as its primary mode of transportation.
So you see, it may be a few more days before things are running smoothly and ready to be
rewarded! In the meantime, be sure to stop by my spacious office and join me for
a bit of tea and crumpets.
Your patience and understanding are most gratefully appreciated.
Sincerely yours,

I hope that ink-o-meter of yours gets fixed soon...it sure was fun to read about. =)
Me, too, Maggie Ann; hopefully next week.
