Where's all the sunshine and rainbows..?

...and happy, little leaping deer... and butterflies... and lollipops.....?
...sigh...

Well, it's not all sweet and wonderful all the time. I know that. So many
people are facing worse circumstances, and I really do have blessings to count.
Sometimes it just feels like the odds are stacked against us and we'll never
get through this. But we will.
One thing that's helped me lately is Natalie Grant's song "I Will Not Be Moved".
In my mind, I sing with as much soul as she does, and I feel strong enough to
get through things.  Suddenly, getting bleach on my new rug doesn't seem like
the last straw after all.

So what do you do when it feels like the world is ganging up on you?
Click the picture above and turn up your volume a little. Doesn't the sound
of the ocean help? Calgon, take me away!

I go into my prayer closet and really give it all to my Lord.

Let's keep those in Miyanmar and China in our thoughts and prayers.

The swap idea sounds grand! What's involved?

Have a wonderful week!!!

If I'm feeling 'less grateful' than I normally do, I like to listen to great music and go for a walk. That picture you posted with the sounds of the waves is a more 'high-tech' version of exactly that!

Hope things start going your way!

Thanks, Cindy! A walk really is therapeutic and helps clear the cobwebs in my head.

BV, the birds cheer me up, too. Yesterday they were great --a robin, a red bird and a blue jay-- so musical. But I think the jay was doing most of the vocals. ;)

Adriann, you're right! There's never been a time when He didn't see me through!
