I didn't think anyone would expect me to hold up one end of the blogosphere, though...
The last few days I've been practically sleep-walking (thanks to a bout of
insomnia), so today I took my fold-up chaise into the wilds of my backyard.
Which is pretty quiet here on the edge of this small town.
The sun was streaming down warm and golden.
A whisper of wind was stirring the tops of the pine trees.
Bumble bees were bumbling.
Honey bees were hunting. Nectar, I suppose.
Birds were singing lazily.
Squirrels were chattering in the trees and having their own little cirque du soleil.
Didn't take long before the sounds faded away and I drifted off like the wispy
clouds....
Now! Maybe I'm ready to come out of my cave and play.
I might even say something now and then, just for the heck of it. ^_^

Hope you'll stop by and see me!

Welcome back! Man, your little nature nap sounds absolutely wonderful...sunshine, breezes, honeybees....ahhhhh! We are having a blizzard right now, expecting 6-12" of snow. Fun, fun, fun...I think I'll hibernate, lol!
Smiles, Karen
Welcome back. We've had a cold snap here in Kansas, so I feel like I could hibernate for awhile. Can't wait for a little siesta with nature. Sounds divine!
